Latest Schedule Update
Plus Class will meet on July 6 and 13 at Noe Valley Ministry, 1021 Sanchez Street (@ 23rd Street) 94114, from 8-10PM. We'll be upstairs in the main sanctuary. (Please be quiet if you arrive early, Tai Chi in progress until 7:45.) If you're using Muni, the J-Church, #24, and #48 lines are within easy walking distance. This is one of the spaces under serious consideration for our Fall Class, so club members are strongly encouraged to angel, check it out, and give the Board their input.
We'll be back at Forest Hill Christian Church, 250 Laguna Honda Blvd., beginning July 20 and continuing, at least through the end of August, at our regular starting time of 7:30PM. Club Night and Workshop Night shall remain on hold. We continue to research additional locations and welcome your input.
Summer Fun
Club Night may be on hiatus, but there are still several weekend events happening this summer, starting with Foggy City's Cross Clover and Picnic in Golden Gate Park on Saturday July 18.
Paul Gonyea and Steve Scott are organizing this year's Circulate San Francisco on Saturday, August 15, and Daryl Daniels will be coordinating another Labor Day Picnic in John McLaren Park on Monday, September 7. This will be great fun! Friends and family are welcome to join all these activities—the more, the merrier!

Don't Stop! Don't Slow Down!
Western Star Dancers, one of the founding members of the International Association of Gay Square Dance Clubs (IAGSDC), was organized in March of 1982. Western Star was the first club in San Francisco to use the Callerlab format. From the beginning Western Star has actively promoted interaction with the straight square dance callers and the dancers in our area, and in 1986, club member Bob Bellville was approved as the first openly gay member of the Northern California Callers Association.
Western Star Dancers offers classes in Mainstream or Plus on Mondays led by Rich Reel, and Club Nights with guest callers on the third Wednesday of each month. We have three annual dances and numerous social activities and events with other Bay Area square dancing clubs.
