ROUND DANCING Synchronized Ballroom

Dancing with the Western Stars

Round Dancing is part of the Modern Western Square Dance Movement. It is a form of ballroom dancing with a caller (termed "cuer" for Rounds). Whereas Square Dancing is mostly walking in patterns, Round Dancing also involves rhythms and footwork. As with squares, the couples are part of a larger team. All the couples dance in unison: Synchronized Ballroom.
